Our invited speaker at the Club’s next meeting on Monday, 9th November, is Carolyn Driver. Ms Driver trained as a Nurse at The Nightingale Training School at St Thomas’ hospital in the 1970’s, and subsequently joined the Nightingale Fellowship (an alumni organization) and eventually became a Trustee. She was involved in writing a history of the Nightingale Fellowship which renewed her interest in Miss Nightingale and her legacy.
Congleton Dane Probus Club is a friendly group of retired business or professional men and women – basically anybody who has held positions of responsibility during their working lives. Monthly talks are invariably very well presented, sometimes humorous, sometimes informative, and always entertaining. Anyone wishing to come along to the meeting as a guest can contact the club through the Contact Page of this web site, or if preferred they can ring 07717 375505 to speak to a current member.
